Case Study: Ambio Holdings / T Helper

Industry InsightOne person dies from cancer every four seconds around the world.

Currently, there is sadly no true cure for cancer. But, recent advances in medicine and technology are helping move us closer than ever to a cure.

About Ambio Holdings / T HelperCancer is a complex, ever-changing disease. Scientific research is crucial to helping scientists understand each type better - it's the only way they can find new treatments and cures. That's exactly why it’s so important to fund discovery research. T Helper and its parent company, Ambio Holding are working hard as such a funded business to invest in and develop innovative immunotherapy against cancer and viral diseases.

How We Helped
Castian Global was recently invited to sit on the board of this high impact, healthcare innovator. Katja Vetvik, MD, PhD, and her stakeholders need to focus and prioritise on their groundbreaking medical research and discoveries, but running a formal company can come with challenges and a time consuming administrative burden. Castian Global’s unbiased expertise in directorships, corporate management, governance and company administration, means we can help the business manage such matters in Singapore. We are very excited to be a legal and corporate sounding board whilst learning from these incredible medical professionals. We are proud that we can, in our own small way, help them to achieve such an amazing goal.

Case Study: ConnectedLife

About ConnectedLife
ConnectedLife is an all-in-one smart health solution provider that specialises in the application of connected devices, cloud systems and data analytics.

ConnectedLife’s mission is to revolutionise the way chronic conditions are managed, so people living with them can focus on what truly matters and regain the freedom to live the way they want to live. The company’s particular focus is on Parkinson’s Disease and COVID-19 solutions.

Industry Insight
Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative brain disorder that occurs when dopamine-producing cells are damaged or die. Typical motor symptoms include tremor, slowness of movement, rigidity and postural instability. Although there is currently no cure for Parkinson’s, various treatments can be used to ease the symptoms associated with the disease. Although close medical supervision of individuals with Parkinson’s is needed to adjust the amounts, dosages and types of treatments administered, such supervision can be limited for early and middle stage cases subject to outpatient care. In such cases, periodic evaluation and self-assessment may be relied upon to determine or adjust types and dosages of medications and the effectiveness of various therapies. However, information obtained from periodic evaluations and self assessments can be limited. Accordingly, it is desirable to provide improved mechanisms to gather data about the effectives of therapies for individuals with Parkinson’s – which is exactly ConnectedLife’s mission.
